Tom Brady Responds to a Most Sought-After Question From Fans

Tom Brady Getting 'Connected' To 1 NFL Team

Tom Brady didn’t seem to be in the best of moods on his latest weekly podcast appearance. This came after the 34-23 loss at the hands of the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday at the Raymond James Stadium.

The home loss was on his mind when Brady elaborated on what really keeps him going at 45, despite having the worst season of his decorated career.

On the Let’s Go Podcast with Jim Gray and Larry Fitzgerald, Tom Brady answered Gray’s questions about TB12’s internal processing of the back-to-back defeats. Brady scripted a last-minute comeback win against the New Orleans Saints in Week 13. However, the following two weeks have not been so great.

For everyone who constantly asked, “Why is he still playing? Because all you want to do is win.” This was the answer long due. Brady explained on the podcast, “I agree it should be about winning, but it’s also, I’m looking at it like, no, what am I learning? What am I learning from putting a similar amount of energy in over the last couple of years and not winning? What is that teaching me?”

Tom Brady took inspiration from French soccer star Kylian Mbappe

Tom Brady has never lost 8 games in the regular season during his 23-year career in the NFL. The 6-8 Tampa Bay Buccaneers still sit at the top of the NFC South Division.

But all the other divisional rivals are quickly catching up. The Bucs lost to the Cleveland Browns and the San Francisco 49ers before losing to Joe Burrow‘s brilliance on Sunday.

However, the seven-time Super Bowl champion is not one to just give up and quit. “This is not the time to feel sorry for yourself. So get up, go into work and make it better, and improve it and work harder and work more determined,” 15x Pro Bowler Tom Brady said.

Brady also brought up the example of 24-year-old soccer sensation Kylian Mbappe on learning to deal with adversities, especially losing.

“He scored 3 goals in the World Cup [Final] and his team still didn’t win. That’s just life,” the Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB said while talking about his own shoulder injury adversity in the first part of this season.

France lost to Argentina in the FIFA World Cup Finals in Qatar on Sunday. With only three games remaining this regular season, Brady and the Bucs can afford no mistakes. The Bucs’ running game has to pick up. Currently ranked 32nd in the league, Leonard Fournette and Rachaad White are Brady’s only hope with the poor form in the wideout department.

The QB has only 20 touchdowns this season for his 3897 passing yards. The WRs have to pick things up as the Buccaneers face the Cardinals on Christmas. And then the Carolina Panthers and Atlanta Falcons to decide the fate of the NFC South.
