One Raiders’ player is doing things we usually don’t see from him

The Las Vegas Raiders are 2-4, yes, but, and hear me out here, their offense is actually pretty dang good. Mostly, because of one guy, who is doing things a lot of us didn’t expect. I guess that is what happens when you are on a contract year, and all the rumors at the beginning of the season are that the team wants to trade you.

Yeah, that is right, Josh Jacobs is on track to have a career year. Honestly, in this young season, he has looked better than ever, and I think has looked like a top-five running back in the league.

Jacobs is doing things he usually doesn’t, too, and it is showing, as he ranks high in the league in one category. Raiders’ Jacobs ranks high in the league in one impressive stat regarding running backs.

Jacobs has been going off lately, I think we have all seen that. He broke the raiders franchise record for the most consecutive 140 rushing-yard games with three.

And think about the running backs that have come through the Raiders franchise, which will just tell you how impressive that feat is. But, that isn’t the crazy thing we are talking about.

Jacobs has the fourth most yards from scrimmage of all players this year, behind only Saquon Barkley, Nick Chubb, and Tyreek Hill, with 774. When you read this, it should hit you immediately.

Not only is Jacobs running the ball extremely well, but he is also catching it better than he usually does.

In Weeks 4,5, and 6, Jacobs had at least five receptions. On the year he has 20 receptions, which is tied with how many he had in his rookie year, and 13 away from his Pro Bowl year.

So far he has 141 receiving yards, which may not seem like a lot, but it is over half of what he had last year, his best yardage season.

Jacobs has been playing out of his mind in 2022, and hopefully, he can keep it up. If so, you will see his name everywhere regarding a huge contract.
