Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow showed off a skill this week that fans probably hope he never has to use.
All Bengals’ James Rapien tweeted a video of Burrow punting on Thursday and Burrow actually wasn’t bad.
Burrow punted the ball from midfield and it bounced inside the 20 and appeared to go out of bounds around the 13-yard line.
That wouldn’t be a perfect punt in an NFL game, but it would be serviceable. It’s nice to know that Burrow has that skill, but if he’s forced to use it, things have gone south for Cincy.

For starters, it would mean the Bengals are down a punter. It would also mean that Cincinnati’s drive stalled out.
So while it’s fun to watch Burrow see how far he can punt the football, fans certainly hope they never see the former LSU star have to punt during an actual game.
