The Tennessee Titans will face off with the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 12. There is a big question mark surrounding the Bengals this week.
Will Bengals’ star wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase play? He is recovering from a hip injury.
Cincinnati QB Joe Burrow had an important update for his status on Wednesday.

For the Bengals, they certainly won’t rush him back. That being said, they are jockeying for playoff position. This game is quite important for them, so having Chase would be a great addition for them.
For the Titans, he makes the matchup a whole lot more difficult.
Even if he isn’t 100%, Chase is one of the most talented receivers in the league. Guarding him, Tee Higgins, and Tyler Boyd really pushes a secondary’s depth to the edge.
Luckily for the Titans, they have shown that they can handle passing offenses consistently. Their pass rush helps their secondary plenty. Not to mention, their safety play has been remarkable all season long.
The Bengals would be smart to ease Chase back into action, regardless. So, if he plays, it may be limited snaps.
Cincinnati would be smart to use him as a decoy on some plays as well. That will open up the field for other talented pass catchers.
Chase’ status is something for Titans fans to monitor over the next couple of days.
Burrow’s comments are certainly notable, though.
